HISTORICAL EVENTS AND STORIES LINKED TO OTTERY’S SCHOOLS
Andrea will take us on a journey through the Victorian and Edwardian Eras to the First World War, discovering along the way all the different types of schools, the former pupils/students that had an impact on history and the intriguing reason why ships at Bristol docks and stagecoaches were involved.
• We welcome you to come and hear Andrea, and there will be refreshments beforehand and an opportunity to meet others, from 7pm. The venue is The Institute, Yonder Street, Ottery, which is adjacent to Brook Street car park. Not-yet members are especially welcome. We’ll invite you to make a donation, redeemed if you join, of course.
